This is the best slogan the ad gurus for Bud Light could come up with. I think this is how the marketing brainstorming session went.
Dude 1: We have to come up with a new ad slogan for Bud Light.
Dude 2: Ugh, that stuff is awful. I thought everyone stopped drinking that crap after they get out of high school.
Dude 1: Well, they are paying us a ton of money so we need to pull something out of our asses.
Dude 2: What are positive things we can say about Bud Light beer?
Dude 1: Uhhhhhhhhh.
Dude 2: Hmmmmmmm.
Dude 1: It does get you drunk if you can force enough down your throat.
Dude 2: MADD would be all over us if we made an ad about that.
Dude 1: Let’s see… It is a liquid.
Dude 2: That’s great! Keep it rolling!
Dude 1: It’s a liquid and you can pour it… and therefore it is physically possible to ingest!
Dude 2: YES! GENIUS! You can drink it! It’s drinkable!
Dude 1: Let’s say it has “Drinkability”. Sounds more Web 2.0.
