I found these pictures in a newspaper from a town near where I grew up. I found them quite hilarious and meant to post them back in March when I first found them. Unfortunately I misplaced the paper and didn’t find it again till now. Stephen Colbert did a report on Cane Fu during his June 22nd episode. Can old people use cane fu to defend themselves? Depends.

Apparently the theme song to Fox’s departed hit show Married with Children was too expensive for Hulu to buy the rights for so they replaced with with some generic awfulness. Stock music at its worst. Play an episode below to hear it for yourself.

I haven’t seen anything by Quentin Tarantino that didn’t entertain me in some way. I’m hoping this movie will continue the streak.

bioshock2
The developers over at 2K Marin have been hard at work creating the next chapter in the Bioshock universe. In this video different members of the development team discuss what they have planned for the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2007 game. The game still takes place in Rapture but will focus on new sections of the underwater metropolis but may feature returns to some of the well known locations covered in the first Bioshock. Flooding is slowly taking over the city and the splicers have had to change their ways in order to survive. You get to play as a Big Daddy again and there is the new addition of Big Sisters. I can’t wait to play the final game.

dvtape

I was recently driving back to my parent’s farm in Iowa when I got a flat tire on a gravel road near there. When I got out of my car to change it I noticed a DV cam tape laying in the dirt on the side of the road. I figured it was trashed but I stuck it in my pocket and took it with me. Luckily I had brought my own DV cam home with me so I tried the cassette and amazingly it worked. This is the video I was able to get off it. I don’t know what to make of it. I blurred the people’s faces since I don’t know who they are or what happened to them.

Kitty Playhouse

I just got done slapping together my latest website, Kitty Playhouse. The concept is simple. A webcam pointed at my two cat’s playhouse and food dish. They play on it a lot and its pretty funny watching them. They’re not always there but check back often to see if they’ll make an appearance. It also has night vision which is pretty sweet. Click here to check it out.

The entire mainstream media has been absorbed with the Jim Cramer/Jon Stewart conflict and last night it came to head with Cramer’s appearance on The Daily Show. The fight started when Jon Stewart did a segment on his show about how irresponsible reporting by the mainstream media led to people losing a lot of their money. Jim Cramer spent the entire time trying to either appologize or absolve himself of problems with the way he and others have been reporting on the economy. Stewart spent the time making actual arguments and backing them up with videos that obviously cornered an already flustered Cramer. I don’t know much about the market but Jon Stewart showed a clip where Cramer admitted to creating activity in the market to enhance his ability to make money. He says its legal and then tells hedge fund managers to do the same. Start watching this clip at 1:30.

Is this really legal or did Cramer inadvertantly admit to breaking the law? Please discuss below. Talks amongts yaselves. I’m feeling vaklempt.
